Effectiveness at Work

This unit is all about you – how to take responsibility for improving your performance at work and how to work well with your colleagues. Any personal improvement will help ‘you’ make a positive contribution to the overall effectiveness of the salon. You may be asking, ‘How will this help me to become a good stylist?’ The answer is that being able to be objective about your own performance i.e. standing back and viewing your behaviour from the outside, will help you to develop your personal and emotional attitudes, improve your relationships with your colleagues, and encourage a positive working atmosphere within the salon.
